What does the club do with any surplus funds?

The cckevm is a non-profit organization. A law regarding companies forbids non-profit organization from paying dividends to their members. When the club has a surplus, a certain percentage of it is kept in a river access fund and the rest in an operation fund. Every year, a portion of the river access fund is also donated to other non-profit organization working to preserve river access.
