If I hurt myself while kayaking with the club, am I covered by an insurance?

Yes, an insurance is available through the FQCKEV (federation). All the members of the club are automatically members of the FQCKEV. The accident claim form is on line at http://www.federationkayak.qc.ca/ (in the menu A propos/Documents)

You have to fill out a claim and send it to the federation within fifteen days after the date of the accident.

This insurance applies only if you hurt yourself in Canada and received treatment in Canada. Moreover, the activity you were doing had to be on the calendar of the club to be approved by the CCKEVM.
